Marriage to the Blue Beard is a fairytale image of a common life situation, which is essentially an existential choice - to break away from our intuitive nature, to bleed our ideas and dreams, to stop being curious, ie. to stop developing.
Which one of us didn't compromise, convincing ourselves that "the beard isn't really that blue?"
But there comes a time when we open the closet door and discover our deadly pursuits. And this is the decisive moment in which we must confront the "predator, within ourselves", which is fueled by public order and stereotypical categorizations.
Because, as Jung argues, "meeting with yourself is one of the most unpleasant things that can be avoided as long as we can project everything outwardly."
This is an author's performance dedicated to women holding a key in their hands, and it keeps on bleeding and screaming that "something is wrong."
The performance is realized with the financial support of the Ministry of Culture.
